The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team took its first lead of the game with 27:20 to play in the game and held on to defeat host Ohio State, 11-10, in both teams' regular season finale Sunday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The seventh-ranked Loyola men's lacrosse team got a game-high three goals from senior Mike Sawyer and the Greyhound defense held 11th-ranked Johns Hopkins scoreless for the final 29 minutes of the game in a crucial 8-4 win over the Blue Jays at Homewood Field Saturday afternoon. Colin McCarthy totaled four hits with five runs and three RBIs as the No. 3 Johns Hopkins baseball team clinched the Centennial Conference regular season crown with victories by counts of 15-2 and 6-5 over Muhlenberg Saturday. -- Women's Tennis Clinches Top Seed in Centennial Tournament --
The sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team shut out host Swarthmore, 9-0, in a meeting of undefeated Centennial Conference teams on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays complete their seventh straight undefeated conference record and clinch the top seed in next weekend's CC Tournament. Senior Andy Hersh broke the career singles record and eighth-ranked Johns Hopkins defeated Washington College and 24th-ranked NC Wesleyan on the final day of the regular season. Hopkins opened the day with a 9-0 win over Washington College for its 65th straight Centennial Conference win.
