CLEVELAND, OH – Six winter teams combined for 329.5 points to help Johns Hopkins sit comfortably in fourth place in the 2025-26 Learfield Directors' Cup standings at the end of the winter season it was recently announced. Coupled with the 454.5 points accumulated in the fall, the 329.5 points the six Blue Jay teams accumulated in the winter push JHU's total to  784.0 points on the year.

In one of the tightest scoring margins in the history of the Directors' Cup at the end of the winter, NYU jumped to the top of the standings with 812.25 points, while Williams (811 points), Washington-St. Louis (787.5), Johns Hopkins and Tufts (739.75) round out the top five.

Directors' Cup points accumulated can vary by sport based on the size of a team bracket or the number of teams that score points at a particular NCAA championship (note the difference a run to the round of 16 for women's basketball, officially a ninth-place finish, compared to a ninth-place finish for men's swimming).

There are more than 400 schools competing under the NCAA Division III banner and 271 of those schools have scored points in the Directors' Cup standings through the winter.
