• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team broke a 0-0 halftime tie with four goals in the second half to shutout Gettysburg 4-0 Saturday at Homewood Field. A pair of Blue Jays scored their first career goals in the win with Hallie Horvath and Carly Lupton-Smith each finding the back of the net.

• The Blue Jays tested Gettysburg goalie Kiera Loftus with 12 first-half shots, landing seven on goal.
• Junior Hallie Horvath scored her first career goal in the 48th minute off an assist by Meg Van de Loo as she tapped the ball in from the left post.

• Johns Hopkins extended its lead to 3-0 in the 70th minute as Carly Lupton-Smith scored her first career goal, assisted by Bailey Monaco.
• Van de Loo found the back of the net for the 12th straight game in the 78th minute as she controlled the ball at the top of the box and sent it just inside the right post.
