LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team has swept the Centennial Conference weekly awards it was announced Tuesday morning. Senior Achim Younker has been named the offensive player of the week while junior Xander LeFevre earned defensive player of the week honors.
 
Younker and LeFevre led Hopkins to a 2-0 week with wins over Washington College and Muhlenberg. Younker scored in the Blue Jays' 3-0 win in Chestertown Wednesday and then scored the game's only goal in the win over the Mules. LeFevre made two saves in a 3-0 win at Washington College and then followed that with a five-save performance in a 1-0 win over Muhlenberg, the top-scoring offense in the league.
 
Hopkins is back at Homewood Field on Saturday, October 12 as the Blue Jays host the Swarthmore Garnet. The Centennial Conference game is set for a 6:30 pm start.
