Achim Younker has been named the offensive player of the week while junior
Xander LeFevre earned defensive player of the week honors.
Younker and LeFevre led Hopkins to a 2-0 week with wins over Washington College and Muhlenberg. Younker scored in the Blue Jays' 3-0 win in Chestertown Wednesday and then scored the game's only goal in the win over the Mules. LeFevre made two saves in a 3-0 win at Washington College and then followed that with a five-save performance in a 1-0 win over Muhlenberg, the top-scoring offense in the league.
Hopkins is back at Homewood Field on Saturday, October 12 as the Blue Jays host the Swarthmore Garnet. The Centennial Conference game is set for a 6:30 pm start.
