JOHNS HOPKINS PLACES SIX ON CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT MEN'S SOCCER TEAM
Bridges, Coleman Earn Second Selection
 
BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team placed six players on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team it was recently announced by the organization.  From the Academic All‐District honorees, members of CSC will select First, Second and Third Team Academic All‐America Teams, which are scheduled to be announced on December 16.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above and a starter or significant reserve.

Liam Bridges (Sr. • D)
Major:  Economics
GPA:  3.62
« Two-time CSC Academic All-District (2024, 2025)
« Named to Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2023, 2024 and 2025
« Played in 49 games with 33 starts in career
« Completed an internship with a Public Consulting Group
 
Scotty Coleman (Sr. • D)
Major:  Neuroscience
GPA:  3.95
« Second Team All-Centennial Conference in 2025
« Two-time CSC Academic All-District (2024, 2025)
« Played in and started 17 games in 2025 and totaled five goals.  Played in 80 games with 39 starts and had 15 goals and four assists for 34 points in his career
« Named to the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team for fall sports for his work as the President and Fundraising Chairman of Baltimore Scores in STEM, a mentorship program that supports Baltimore youth who are pursuing STEM education
 
John Ghanem (So. • G)
Major:  Molecular & Cellular Biology
GPA:  3.82
« Played in 18 games with 16 starts and logged 1,485 minutes in goal this season
« Posted a 1.33 goals against average and a .763 save percentage with five solo shutouts to his credit
« Named to the 2025 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
« Volunteer at Shepherd's Hope Medical Center and a medical research assistant at Johns Hopkins
 
Rishi Pathak (So. • D)
Major:  Neuroscience
GPA:  3.74
« Played in all 21 games with 20 starts this season
« One of just four players on the team to play in all 21 games this season and one of just three to start 20 or more
« Helped JHU post seven shutouts with a team goals against average of 1.33
« Named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2025
 
Jacob Sardinha (Jr. • M)
Major:  Molecular & Cellular Biology
GPA:  4.00
« Twice named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll (2024, 2025)
« Played in 20 games with four starts this season and tallied one assist on the year
« Has played in 57 games with four starts and counts two goals and one assist to his credit
« Active volunteer with Baltimore Scores in STEM, which helps encourage and support high school students who are interested in pursuing a college degree in STEM
 
Sean Vaghedi (Gr. • F)
Major:  Business Analytics
GPA:  3.85
« Played in 19 games with 12 starts in first season at Johns Hopkins in 2025
« Totaled one goal and one assist on the year
« Earned bachelor's degree at George Washington, where he played in 48 games with 29 starts in his career
« Named to the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll eight times
