Johns Hopkins Picked Second in Centennial Preseason Poll

LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins has been picked to finish second in the 2026 Centennial Conference Preseason Poll of the league's head coaches it was announced today. The Blue Jays grabbed a pair of first-place votes and 71 points and are in the top two of the preseason poll for the eighth straight year.
 
Defending champion Dickinson picked up seven first-place votes and totaled 79 points. Muhlenberg grabbed the other first-place vote and 59 points to place third. Gettysburg sits two points back in fourth place, followed by Haverford (51 points) to round out the top five.
 
Hopkins advanced to the Centennial Conference Championship game and finished with an 8-7-6 record. JHU opens the season on Tuesday, September 1 at Shenandoah. The opener is slated for a 7:00 pm start at Shentel Stadium.
