BALTIMORE, MD –- Johns Hopkins University Director of Athletics
Jennifer S. Baker announced today that
Leo Weil will not return as the Blue Jay women's soccer coach. A national search for his replacement will begin immediately.
Â
"We are thankful to coach Weil for the service and leadership he provided our women's soccer program over nearly three decades," Baker stated. "While we have enjoyed a high level of competitive success, I determined after a careful review that a change in leadership was in the best interest of our program. We are fully committed to providing the best experience to our student-athletes on and off the field and that will be our focus as we look to identify the next head women's soccer coach at Johns Hopkins University."
