Kristen Alicea-Jorgensen led the Johns Hopkins women's swim team as she posted an NCAA B time in the 50 Free on day one of the Janis Hape Dowd Nike Invitational.

• Hopkins opened the night with a third-place finish in the 200 Free Relay. Senior

Sami Kegel and Alicea-Jorgensen swam a 1:44.84. In addition, Nguyen's lead-off leg of 25.19 is a career best.

Amy Pearson then placed fifth in the 500 Free as she touched the wall in 5:11.66. Senior
Colleen Anderson followed in seventh in 5:14.93 and classmate
Rabia Syed clocked in at 5:20.65 for eighth place.
• In the 200 IM, junior
Claire State finished in 2:12.42 for fifth place and classmate
Lauren Parker placed sixth in 2:16.04.
• Alicea-Jorgensen then took third place in the 50 Free as she posted an NCAA B time of 23.66. Sophomore
Mikayla Bisignani swam a career-best 24.03 for fifth place, while senior
Natalia Rincon also posted a career-best time of 24.05 for sixth place.
