Michael Gardner has earned Second Team All-Middle Atlantic honors from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com it was announced this week.

Gardner earns All-Middle Atlantic honors from the NABC for the second straight season while this is his first career honor from D3hoops.com. He is the first Blue Jay to earn all-region honors from both organizations since George Bugarinovic and Jimmy Hammer in 2015.

Gardner was recently named to the 2019 Reese's Division III College All-Star Game and is a two-time First Team All-Centennial Conference selection. He led the Blue Jays to an 18-9 record and their second straight Centennial Conference title game appearance. Gardner averaged 14.6 points per game and shot 45.6 percent from the field, including 39.2 percent from downtown. He ranked ninth in the Centennial in scoring, eighth in assists (73), sixth in field goals (131), third in three-point field goals (69) and seventh in three-point percentage. He scored in double figures in 22 of the Blue Jays' 27 games. In addition, he had six 20-point games, including a pair of 30-point outings.
