COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Eight members of the Johns Hopkins men's swim team have been named to the 2020 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team.
 
Seven individuals received First Team Scholar All-America honors in junior Matt McGough, sophomores Noah Corbitt, Jeff Vitek and Dylan Wachenfeld, freshmen Tristan Lin, Brandon Stride and Kyle Wu. Earning honorable mention honors was junior Riley Mears.
 
McGough and Mears have earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors in each of the last three years. Vitek and Wachenfeld earn the honor for the second consecutive year while Corbitt, Lin, Stride and Wu are all first-time selections.  
 
The CSCAA Scholar All-America award recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and were invited to compete at their respective national championship. Selections were drawn from 209 colleges and universities. In addition to 209 teams receiving first-team selections, 97 programs placed one swimmer or diver selected on the All-America Honorable Mention honors. These student-athletes have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.
