Baltimore, MD – Coming off a 9-3 record during the truncated 2020 season, the Johns Hopkins baseball team ranked 14
th in the recently released Collegiate Baseball 2021 Pre-Season NCAA Division III Poll.
The Blue Jays earned 250 points in the poll, finishing three points ahead of 15
th-ranked St. Thomas and three points behind 13
th-ranked Marietta.
Johns Hopkins is the only Centennial Conference team ranked in the top-40 of the poll and joins Salisbury (#9) as the only Maryland teams represented. The Blue Jays have been ranked in four out of the last five Collegiate Baseball Pre-Season polls.
Cal Lutheran earned the top spot in the poll with 287 points, coming off a 16-1 season. Chapman, Webster, Kean and Southern Maine round out the top-five.
