Katie Sullivan Named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week

BALTIMORE, MD – Blue Jay freshman forward Katie Sullivan was named Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week it was announced this morning. Sullivan is the second Johns Hopkins women's soccer athlete to earn Centennial weekly honors in 2021, joining Laurel Buck
 
For the week, Sullivan scored a pair of goals, including a game-winner, and logged 127 minutes. Sullivan has scored a goal in three straight games and has registered a point in nine of 12 contests. In Wedneday's top-10 road matchup at McDaniel, Sullivan received a cross from Rachel Jackson in the 99th minute of a 1-1 game. With the keeper charging, Sullivan flicked it past, finding the net to lead #2 JHU past #7 McDaniel. In Saturday's 5-0 win over Ursinus, Sullivan scored the second goal of the match on a header from a Riley O'Toole cross. 
 
The Blue Jays will play a big one on Wednesday afternoon, hosting #1 TCNJ at 4 pm on Homewood Field.
