The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's tennis team traveled to the Eastern Shore and picked up a 9-0 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon.

• The Blue Jays grabbed a quick 1-0 lead in the match as the Shoremen forfeited at third doubles. Freshman
Daniel Ardila and senior
Vishnu Joshi beat Andrew Province and Christian Gruyon, 8-2, at second. Freshmen
James and
Thomas Yu gave Hopkins a 3-0 lead when they beat Landon Strober and Ian Hewes, 8-3, at first.
• Washington College also forfeited at fifth and sixth singles to give Hopkins a 5-0 lead and the win. Senior
Robby Simon was the first singles player off the court as he did not drop a game in his win over Gruyon at fourth.

Brian Wang earned a 6-0, 6-3 win over Province at third and the Blue Jays led 7-0. Joshi followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Strober at first and
Thomas Yu closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Hewes at second.

• Hopkins improves to 50-24 all-time against Washington College and runs its win streak to 17 in the series.
