• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's tennis team shutout host McDaniel, 9-0, to earn its sixth straight win.
 
How it Happened
• Hopkins took a quick 3-0 lead as McDaniel forfeited at third doubles as well as fifth and sixth singles.
• Seniors Vishnu Joshi and Jack Hogan pushed the Blue Jays' lead to four when they beat Del Carden and Quinn Burker, 8-0, at first doubles. Seniors Robby Simon and Eric Yoo then beat Jimmy Wawrzynski and Noah Friedman by the same score at second to secure the win for Hopkins.
• Joshi shutout Carden at first singles to put JHU up 6-0. Yoo turned the same trick at second when he beat Burker. Simon followed with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Wawrzynski at third. Hogan closed out the match when he beat Friedman 6-0, 6-0 at fourth.
 
What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 86-15-1 all-time against McDaniel and has won 25 straight over the Green Terror.
• JHU pushes its Centennial Conference win streak to 36 and has now won 118 of its last 119 regular season conference matches.
