The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins men's tennis team shut out visiting Muhlenberg, 9-0, on Saturday to wrap up its 14
th undefeated conference slate.

How it Happened
• Hopkins jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a sweep of the doubles. Seniors
Jack Hogan and
Eric Yoo earned the first point of the match with an 8-1 win over Gavin Meyers and Adam Kronick at third. Seniors
Vishnu Joshi and
Robby Simon then beat Noah Sellinger and Noah Dunn, 8-5, at second. Freshmen
Arjun Asokumar and
Rohan Reddy closed out doubles play when they beat Benedict Kohler and Jason Grant, 8-3, at first.
• Joshi pushed the Blue Jays' lead to 4-0 when he defeated Kohler 6-1, 6-1 at first singles. Freshman
Thomas Yu then clinched the win with a 6-1, 6-2 win over at second over Sellinger. Yoo followed with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Grant at third and Hopkins led 6-0.
• Hogan picked up an 8-1 win over Daniel Kantor at fifth. Freshman
Nick Charanjiva followed with an 8-1 win over Meyers at sixth. Simon closed out the match and the shutout with an impressive comeback. Trailing 7-3 in the match, he battled back to beat Dunn 8-7 (4).

What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 22-1 all-time against Muhlenberg with its 16
th straight win in the series.
• The Blue Jays have now won 40 straight regular season Centennial Conference matches and 122 of the last 123.
• Joshi is now tied for 20
th in school history with 38 career singles wins and is tied for 21
st with 76 combined wins.
