How it Happened

• Just 35 seconds later, the teams were once again tied. Junior
Siena Urbanksi intercepted a pass deep in the Hornets' zone, took two touches and then lofted a shot into the cage from eight yards out.
• Hopkins then grabbed the lead as the Blue Jays scored off a penalty corner as time expired in the third quarter. Junior
Anna Scott received the corner at the top of the circle and blasted a shot toward the Lynchburg cage, where sophomore
Gen Mehra tipped it up and over Kayla Brady to stake the Blue Jays to a 2-1 lead.
