Changes Affect Basketball, Swimming, Fencing and Wrestling

UPDATED - FEBRUARY 6, 2022

BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins University Director of Athletics Jennifer S. Baker announced today that fans will be allowed to attend indoor athletic events on the Homewood campus at 50% of seating capacity effective Monday, February 7.  This in includes each of the following events:

Men's & Women's Basketball Games (Goldfarb Gymnasium)
Wrestling (Goldfarb Gymnasium)
Men's & Women's Fencing (Goldfarb Gymnasium)
Men's & Women's Swimming (Newton White Athletic Center Natatorium)

MASKING REQUIRED
Per Johns Hopkins' current on-campus requirements for all indoor spaces, fans will be required to mask at all times while attending an indoor athletic event.  Fans are required to wear an N95, KN95 or a combination of a cloth mask with a surgical mask. In other words, a cloth mask alone or a surgical mask alone does not meet the university's masking requirements.

Any changes or updates to the indoor fan attendance policy on the Homewood campus will be communicated immediately via the official web site of Hopkins Athletics and other communication channels, including social media.

All home events for the Johns Hopkins men's & women's basketball, men's & women's swimming and wrestling teams will be streamed lived via HopTV with live results/stats available as well.
