BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins sophomore
Kristin Cornish picked up another win and broke her own school record in the 1650 Free on the third and final day of the Thomas Murphy Invitational.
Cornish kicked off the day by cruising to a win in the 1650 Free. She beat the field by more than 26 seconds to touch the wall in 16:29.52. She broke her own school record by more than three and a half seconds. In addition, her time is an NCAA B time. Sophomore
Meg Susil placed third in 17:25.84 and junior
Joanna Dohrman placed seventh with a time of 17:55.48.

Cameron Roche then took third place in the 200 Back as she finished in an NCAA B time of 2:02.49. Junior
Makenzie Higgins finished in fifth (2:05.54) and classmate
Caroline Storen took sixth (2:07.73). Freshman
Claire Han followed with a seventh-place finish in the 100 Free as she clocked in at 52.88. Graduate student
Sophia Girgenti placed ninth in 53.23.

Taylor Rohovit then won the 200 Breast as she touched in 2:19.42, an NCAA B time. Sophomore
Michelle Liu placed sixth with a career-best time of 2:22.53. Senior
Kate Overbey finished in seventh (2:23.70) and freshman
Katherine Chelus eighth (2:24.67). Freshman
Rachel Davis won the B Final and placed 10
th overall with a tie of 2:25.23.
Senior
Emerson Davis took second in the B Final of the 200 Fly with a time of 2:08.12. The Blue Jays wrapped up the weekend with a third-place finish in the 400 Free Relay. Liu, freshman

Kristen Alicea-Jorgensen combined for a time of 3:30.10.
