LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins sophomore forward Katie Sullivan, who helped the Blue Jays to a pair of victories last week, has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week it was announced today. It is the fourth time in her career she has received the award, second time this season.
 
Sullivan led an attack that poured in ten goals last week. She scored three goals and added an assist in a 2-0 week for the Blue Jays, with victories coming over conference foes Dickinson and F&M. Sullivan's assist came against Dickinson in a 4-0 win before she dazzled in a 6-3 win over the Diplomats, scoring her first career hat trick. Her efforts last week helped Johns Hopkins to a second consecutive unbeaten regular season and a perfect 10-0 mark in Centennial Conference play.
 
Through 17 games, Sullivan ranks first in the conference in points (32), second in assists (10) and is tied for second in goals (11). Since conference play began the sophomore has been on fire. Sullivan has five goals and nine assists in CC action, including four goals and three assists in her last five matches.
 
Third-ranked Johns Hopkins (15-0-2) will return to action on Friday, November 4 when the Blue Jays host a CC Tournament game against the winner of F&M-McDaniel at Homewood Field (6 pm).
