BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins graduate student
Emerson Sullivan was named Honorable Mention All-Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) this weekend. This is his first career all-conference selection.
Sullivan has put together an impressive final season for the Blue Jays. He leads the team in goals (106), points (131) and ejections drawn (52). He also ranks second in steals (52) and blocks (15). Sullivan is just the third player in program history to score 100 goals in a season and needs only six goals to tie Ross Schofield's record. His 131 points are also the third most in a single season.
Hopkins wraps up the MAPWC Championship on Sunday versus McKendree in the seventh-place match. The Blue Jays will then travel to the California for the USA Water Polo National Championship the first weekend of December.
