Celina Liu earned the Blue Jays' point with an 8-2 win over Kaitlyn Chalker and Nell Covington at third doubles. Taylor Garcia and Izzy Koziol beat juniors
Anjali Devireddy and
Emily Javedan, 8-4, at first doubles. Becket Waters and Gabi Moss won 8-2 at second over junior
Christina Huynh and freshman
Aya Igaki-Meader.
• Garcia won 6-4, 6-2 at first singles over Devireddy and Moss, ranked 11
th in the nation, beat Javedan 6-1, 6-0 at second. Koziol won a close 6-3, 6-4 decision at third over Huynh.
• At fourth Marta Mikos defeated senior
Amanda Ruci 6-2, 6-2. Liang won her first set, 6-4, but Waters rallied to win the second, 6-2, and the tiebreaker, 10-0, at fifth. Chalker then beat senior
Sophie Saland 6-3, 6-3 at sixth.
