Meet Highlights
- After another All-American indoor season, graduate student Annie Gutierrez kicked off her 2022 outdoor season, competing in three events at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Gutierrez competed in the long jump, pole vault and 100-meter hurdles Gutierrez broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking in at 14.59 seconds. That time placed her 16th in the event. In the long jump, Gutierrez placed fifth with a 5.52m leap. The Hopkins women's outdoor record holder in the pole vault, Gutierrez hit the fifth-best mark in program history with a 3.60m vault, placing eighth.
- Fellow graduate student Matthew Su competed in the men's long jump, finishing fifth with a 7.10m long jump, tying for his third-best mark and the fifth-best in program history,
