Quarry Named Centennial Conference Player of the Week

LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins graduate student Tom Quarry has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week it was announced this morning. This is his first weekly conference honor of the season and fourth of his career.
 
Quarry led Hopkins to a pair of big conference wins with averages of 24 points, 5.0 three-pointers, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game. He scored 26 points, with six three-pointers, to go with three boards, two assists, two steals and a block in JHU's win over Franklin & Marshall Wednesday night. Quarry followed that with 22 points and six rebounds in the win at Muhlenberg as the Blue Jays avenged an earlier loss to the Mules. He shot 47.6% from three (10-for-21) and 46.7% from the floor on the week. 
 
Quarry leads the Blue Jays with 14.9 points and ranks fourth with 4.5 rebounds per game. He ranks seventh in the conference in scoring and is tied for the lead league with 44 three-point field goals.
 
Hopkins returns to action on Thursday, January 26 versus Gettysburg. Tip-off at Goldfarb Gym is set for 7:00 pm.
