Siena Urbanski have been named to the 2023 NFHCA Senior Team it was announced today. The Blue Jays' three selections are the most of any team in the nation.
The NFHCA recognized 60 student-athletes from 44 NCAA Division III institutions for their accomplishments and impact on and off the field during their careers. The Blue Jays have had at least one player named to the NFHCA Senior Team in each of the five years. Hopkins' three selections this season are the most in program history.
Loder has played in all 21 games and started 15 in the cage this season. A two-time All-Centennial Conference selection, she boasts a 0.45 goals against average and a .843 save percentage. For her career, Loder has played in 66 games, a program record, and sports a 0.63 goals against average and a .796 save percentage for her career. She is also 39-3 and has posted 17 shutouts in her career.
Schoff, a two-time All-CC selection, is a stalwart in the midfield for the Blue Jays and contributes on both ends of the field. She ranks second on the team in assists (7) and is fourth in goals with 17. She has also scored five goals, including the game-winner in the NCAA Quarterfinals, along with two defensive saves. Schoff is part of a defense that ranks fourth in the nation in goals against average (0.56) and allows just 5.9 shots per game.
Urbanski was recently named the 2023 Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year. She has led the Blue Jays in scoring in each of the last two seasons, scoring 25 goals while handing out 11 assists in 44 games. Urbanski is tied for 11
th in JHU history in career points (70), tied for ninth in goals (29)and tied for 23
rd in assists (12).
