Francis Meyer were named to the United Soccer Coaches Region V Second Team.
Hopkins has now produced 81 Untied Soccer Coaches All-Region selections, including 41 under head coach
Craig Appleby. The duo led Johns Hopkins to its 10
th Centennial Conference Championship and a trip to the NCAA Second Round this season.
Griffin Meyer made an immediate impact in his first season with the Blue Jays. He earned First Team All-Centennial Conference honors and led the team in goals (13) and points (28). He also ranked second in the Centennial Conference in both categories.
Griffin Meyer's 13 goals are the most by a Blue Jay since Achim Younker scored 17 in 2017. He had a six-game goal-scoring streak this season that is tied for the fourth longest in program history.
Francis Meyer earns all-region honors for the second straight season. A two-time All-Centennial Conference selection, he anchored the Blue Jay midfield. He started 21 games and finished with two goals and two assists for a career-best six points.
