th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team opened Centennial Conference play with a 9-0 win at Franklin & Marshall Sunday afternoon.

Christina Huynh took the first point of the match with an 8-0 win over Presley Daggett and Amelia Squires at third doubles. Graduate student

Emily Javedan turned the same trick in their win over Rebecca Bellick and Jenna Harrison at second. Freshmen

Jay Xiao wrapped up doubles with an 8-4 win over Cassidy Landau and Sammi Perry. In an exhibition match, sophomores
Zoe Hsieh and
Bea Manjon beat Hayley Bidwell and Skye Victor, 8-1.
In singles play, JHU won all six matches in straight sets. Hurley took the first point in singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Harrison at second. Wong then clinched the victory at third with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Bellick. Harding followed with a 6-2, 6-0 win at sixth over Squires.
Xiao pushed Hopkins' lead to 6-0 when she beat Landau 6-1, 6-3 at first. Huynh then defeated Bidwell 6-0, 6-2 at fifth. Senior
Anjali Devireddy wrapped up the match with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Perry at fourth. And in the exhibitions, senior
Celina Liu beat Clara March Okuyama in three sets. Sophomore
Catharina Ausfahl defeated Victor in straight sets.
