Phillips Break Two of Her Own Records at the Division III Invitational

Women
  • Lauren Phillips continues to dominate throughout her sophomore season as she broke her previous school 200-meter record by running a 25.53. That time currently sits in the top 23 in the country and second in the Mid-Atlantic region. She also broke her own record and set a new meet record in the 400 with a time of 56.79. She continues to sit at the top of the country in the 400-meter.
  • Victoria Kadiri continued her fantastic season as well as she came in first place in three different events. She came away with a 9.41 in the 60-meter hurdles, which gives her another top ten time in school history. She also came in first in the high and triple jump events.
  • Freshman Emma Kothari impressed in the 800, running a time of 2:19.94 to come in first place in the first time she ran in the event in college. Harrinee Senthilkumar also came away with a top five finish running a 2:22.45.
  • Sara-Caulley Soto earned first place in the pole vault as she continues to improve her PR throughout the season which now sits at 3.49-meters after Friday's meet. Cassidy Brown and Taryn Silvernale came in right behind her, both reaching a mark of 3.34 meters.
  •  Sara Bartlett came away with a PR in the long jump with a 5.02-meter mark to come in third place in the event.
Men
  • Arthur Beyer came in second place in the 800-meter with a time of 1:54.70. His time ties him for third all-time in program history for the 800. His time also currently ranks second in the Mid-Atlantic region so far this season.
  • Conrad Say matched his season best time in the 60-meter coming in fourth place with a time of 7.08, which gives him another top ten time in the event in school history. His PR of 6.98 sits at fourth all-time.
  • Sophomore Ahmed Elmogi came away with a fifth-place finish in the 200 with a season's best time of 22.55. Fellow sophomore Francisco Ferrara competed in the event and also ran a season's best of 23:03 to come in 13th in the field.
  • Josh Lee competed in the 400 for the first time in his career and was impressive coming away with a fifth-place finish with a time of 50.65. Kevin Sommer also finished in the top ten with a season's best time of 51.57.
  • Freshman Rowan Cassidy came away with a top five finish in the mile run in his first time participating in the event in his college career. He ran a time of 4:22.29. Zach Martin came in 15th with a PR of 4:28.83.

  • Next up for the Blue Jays is a trip to Boston, MA next weekend as the team will compete in the David Hemery Invitational.
