th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team did not drop a set en route to a 9-0 win over host Screiner on Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Jays improve to 6-3 while the Mountaineers fall to 3-12.
The Blue Jays lost just two games as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles. Sophomores
Bea Manjon and
Zoe Hsieh shutout Grace Deininger and Daniella Rodriquez at third to grab the first point of the match. Sophomore
Catharina Ausfahl and senior
Celina Liu then beat Blair Drought-Villarreal, 8-1, at second. Graduate student
Mary Beth Hurley and senior
Emily Javedan closed out doubles with an 8-1 win over Hannah Reyna and Victoria Morales at first.
Junior
Ali Bader put Hopkins on top 4-0 when she beat Drought-Villarreal 6-1, 6-0 at second singles. Hsieh clinched the victory with a 6-0, 6-3 win at fourth over Rachel Rompel. Liu then beat Deininger 6-0, 6-2 at third and the Blue Jays led 6-0. Senior
Anjali Devireddy followed with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Reyna at first. Manjon beat Amy Lowe 6-0, 6-0 at sixth and Ausfahl completed the shutout with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Rodriquez at fifth.

th-ranked Colby at 9:00 am in San Antonio, TX.
