LANCASTER, PA- Blue Jays sophomore sprinter
Lauren Phillips was selected as the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational. She becomes the first Johns Hopkins athlete to earn the award for the outdoor season.

Phillips started the season off strong in the 200m, setting a school record in the event, clocking in at 25.05 to come away with a fourth place finish out of 49 runners. She broke her previous school record, which was 25.20, and her new time is the fourth fastest in conference history. Phillips' 25.05 currently ranks 15
th nationally in Division III.

Johns Hopkins are back in action this upcoming weekend as they will compete in the Bucknell Outdoor Classic on April 15
th and 16
th in Lewisburg, PA.
