LEWISBURG, PA – The Johns Hopkins men's and women's track teams closed out a weekend at the Division I and II-heavy Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell on Sunday. The Blue Jays got several strong performances on the women's side and a pair of personal bests from the men to highlight the day.
Junior
Victoria Kadiri rolled to another first-place finish in the triple jump with a best leap of 12.82-meters (42'-0.75"). Kadiri's best jump was 21 inches better than runner-up Kaylah Britt of the University of Buffalo and three of her four jumps on the day would have earned her a first-place finish in the 41-person field. Sophomore

A pair of Blue Jay freshmen –
Adriana Catalano and
Isis Diaz – placed in the top 11 among 67 finishers in the 3,000-meter run. Both competed in heat one with 40 entries and 30 finishers; Catalano was among the top six throughout the race and eventually placed fifth with a time of 10:11.30, while Diaz sat in the top 12 throughout and clocked in at 10:23.08.
