The Johns Hopkins men's and women's track and field teams took the trip up to Susquehanna with a small group of athletes trying to make a final push towards the NCAA Championships and add a couple more qualifiers.
Meet Highlights
- The Blue Jays women's 4x400 relay team put together a solid race to come in third place with a time of 3:50.96. That time is the third best performance in school history. Lauren Phillips, Harrinee Senthilkumar, Anna Zaeske and Leanne Saussy currently rank 16th in the country which would qualify them for the NCAAs.
- Zaeske also competed in the 400 and ran a 58.58 which is a PR time for her in her collegiate career and she is the eighth best performer in school history.
- Senthilkumar came in third place out of 33 runners in the 1500, clocking in at 4:35.14.
- Victoria Kadiri and Sara Bartlett both finished in the top five in the triple jump. Kadiri came out on top of the field with a jump of 12.59m and Bartlett finished in fifth with her furthest jump being 11.56m.
- Ethan Bartlett grabbed yet another top 10 performance spot in school history in the triple jump. He reached a mark of 14.31m to come in fifth place in the field.

- The official NCAA qualifiers will be announced tomorrow by the NCAA. The Blue Jays will hope to send several of their athletes to Rochester, NY to compete in the DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 25-27.
