BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins placed four student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's Track and Cross Country Team it was announced by the organization. Junior Victoria Kadiri was named to the first team, graduate student Alex Ross was named to the second team and senior Sydney Friedel and junior Triya Roy were named to the third team.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above and have participated in 50 percent of the competitions that an institution schedules in either cross country, indoor track and field, or outdoor track and field.
 
The selection of Friedel, Kadiri, Ross and Roy gives the Johns Hopkins women's cross country/track & field program 19 all-time Academic All-Americans, 11 of which have come in the last four years. The 19 all-time selections are tied for the most of any women's program in Johns Hopkins history. Kadiri is just the fourth athlete in program history to earn first team honors, while Ross is only the fifth earn Academic All-America honors twice.

• Seven-time NCAA Champion (4 long jump, 3 triple jump)
• National record holder in triple jump (indoor and outdoor)
• Three-time USTFCCCA National Field Athlete of the Year, 10-time All-American
• 18-time Centennial Conference Champion
• JHU record holder in long jump (indoor & outdoor) and triple jump (indoor & outdoor)
