Senior Forward Scored Three Times, Added an Assist in Two Victories

LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins senior forward Katie Sullivan has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week it was announced today.  Sullivan helped guide the Blue Jays to a pair of Centennial Conference road victories last week.

Sullivan scored twice in a key 4-1 road win at Dickinson last Wednesday (September 25) to jump-start her week.  She then added one goal and one assist in a 6-0 victory over Ursinus on Saturday evening (September 28) at Homewood Field to cap her three-goal, one-assist week.

Sullivan's three goals and one assist boost her season totals to six goals and six assists for 18 points.  She leads the team in all three categories and also ranks first in the Centennial Conference in assists and points and third in goals.

With her three goals and one assist last week, Sullivan also pushed her career totals to 47 goals and 29 assists for 123 points.  She currently ranks third in school history in points and assists and fourth in goals.  Sullivan needs just three goals and one assist to become the third player in program history with 50 or more goals and 30 or more assists.  She is also one of just 10 active Division III players with more than 45 goals and 25 assists.

The Blue Jays (5-1-3, 3-0 Centennial Conference) return to action on Saturday, October 5 when they travel to Bryn Mawr for a Centennial Conference game against the Owls.
