Hopkins wasted little time in getting on the scoreboard as an early penalty corner led to a penalty stroke call. Senior

Lila Slattery on the right side. She settled the ball and then ripped a shot into the near side of the cage at 26:17.
The Blue Jays then scored twice in a two-minute span to turn their two-goal lead into a four-goal lead. Falterer sprung Slattery on a fast-break when she lifted a pass that went nearly three-quarters of the field. Slattery ran onto the pass and with a defender on her shoulder, slotted home her second of the afternoon at 52:49. Less than two minutes later, junior
Megan Chang scored on a one-timer to stake Hopkins to the 4-0 lead.
Sophomore
Aubrey Kilgore finished with three saves to earn the shutout while Charlene Basque made nine in the loss for the Owls. Hopkins finished with a 15-4 advantage in shots and an 11-3 edge in corners.
