BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins volleyball team placed four players on the 2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team it was announced today.
 
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above and be a starter or significant reserve. Hopkins has now produced 37 CSC Academic All-District honorees since 2002.

Simone Adam (Jr. • OH)
Major: Computer Science
• Two-time AVCA All-American (2024 1^st team / 2022 Honorable Mention)
• 2024 Centennial Conference Player of the Year
• AVCA Region V Freshman of the Year; Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year (2022)
• Three-time All-Centennial Conference (2024 1^st team / 2023 Second Team / 2021 First Team)
• Led team in kills (417) and points (447) while hitting .353
• Ranks 9^th in JHU history with 1,102 career kills
 
Simrin Carlsen (Sr. • OH)
Major: Environmental Science and Public Health
• Two-time AVCA All-American (2024 Second Team / 2023 First Team)
• 2023 Centennial Conference Player of the Year
• Two-time All-Centennial Conference (2024 Second Team / 2023 First Team)
• Three-time CSC Academic All-District
• Led team in digs (348) and ranked 2^nd in kills (347)
• Ranks 10^th in JHU history with 1,023 career kills
 
Helena Swaak (Jr. • S)
Major: Public Health
• 2023 AVCA All-American (Third Team)
