BALTIMORE, MD – The honors continue to roll in for Johns Hopkins men's basketball standouts
John Windley and
Brayden Fagbemi, who were honored today by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com, respectively, as both organizations named their all-district/all-region selections.

Windley earned Second Team NABC All-District honors, while Fagbemi was named the D3hoops.com Region 5 Rookie of the Year. Windley is the 19
th Johns Hopkins player since 1990 to earn all-region honors from the NABC, while Fagbemi is the first Blue Jay to earn D3hoops.com Regional Rookie of the Year.

Windley, who adds his all-district selection to his spot on the 2024 First Team All-Centennial Conference Team, led the Blue Jays and ranked fifth in the conference in scoring (15.6) and field goal percentage (.481). He also led the league in three-point field goals (64) and tied the program record for consecutive games with a made three-pointer (35). Windley scored in double figures 22 times this season, including eight 20-point games. After three seasons, he ranks 17
th in JHU history in three-point attempts (323) and 15
th in three-pointers (124).

Fagbemi turned in one of the most impressive freshman campaigns in program history and adds his D3hoops.com Rookie of the Year award to his nod as the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year; he was also an Honorable Mention All-Centennial pick this season.

Fagbemi averaged 13.4 points, 3.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals while playing 30.2 minutes per game. He ranked in the top-five in the conference in assists per game, assist to turnover ratio, free throw percentage and steals. Fagbemi also ranked in the top-10 in scoring and defensive rebounds (130). He broke the program record for defensive rebounds by a freshman (130), and ranks second in points (363), assists (99) and free throws made (85).

Johns Hopkins posted a 20-7 record under the direction of first-year coach
Ryan Cain in the recently-completed 2023-24 season. The 20-win season is the fourth straight and the fifth in the last six years for the Blue Jays, who also advanced to the Centennial Conference title game for the sixth consecutive season.
