BRYN MAWR, PA -- The seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team picked up its second Centennial Conference shutout in as many days as the Blue Jays dropped just 19 games en route to a 9-0 win at Bryn Mawr Wednesday afternoon. The Blue Jays improve to 11-4 overall and 5-0 in the Centennial, while the Owls slip to 5-5 overall and 0-4 in the Centennial.
The Blue Jays picked up all three points in doubles to grab a quick 3-0 lead. The third doubles team of
Zoe Hsieh and
Bea Manjon picked up what would be the tightest win in the match as they topped Kelly Cole and Gionna Zhao 8-6.  Hopkins' first and second pairings eased to wins by scores of 8-1 and 8-3, respectively, to close out the doubles sweep.

In singles,
Samantha Wang picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win over Lowery West at number two, while
Catharina Ausfahl (#4), Manjon (#5) and
Tanvikhaa Saravanan (#6) all cruised to straight-set wins while dropping just one game for the Blue Jays.

Johns Hopkins will return to action on Saturday, April 13 when the Blue Jays travel to Haverford for another Centennial Conference match. The match against the Fords will be the third in a five match road swing for the Blue Jays.
