CARLISLE, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's team lost a total of just 11 games en route to a 9-0 win over host Dickinson Tuesday afternoon in Centennial Conference action. The Blue Jays improve to 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the conference with the win, while the Red Devils fall to 7-4 and 1-2 in the CC.
Hopkins jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a doubles' sweep. Juniors

Bea Manjon blanked Molly Michel and Maddie Lindquist at number three. Graduate student

Lia Melvin turned the same trick at number one in their win over Alisa Steele and Bonnie Thomas. Junior
Catharina Ausfahl and
Sydney Langer wrapped up doubles with an 8-3 win over Jenna Crain and Dana Kleinman at number two.
Ausfahl pushed the Blue Jays' lead to 4-0 when she didn't drop a game in her win at number five singles over Lindquist. Melvin needed just 12 games to beat Anabelle Armendarez at number three to clinch the win. Manjon then beat Katharine van Kesteren 6-0, 6-1 at number six. Chang followed with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Crain at number one. Hsieh then beat Sara Jaklitsch 6-1, 6-1 at four. Langer closed out the shutout win with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Steele at number two.
Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, April 10 at Bryn Mawr. The Centennial Conference match is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start.
