Â
The Shorewomen pushed forward in the third quarter and fired four of their eight shots in the game in the period, but Blue Jay goalie
Aubrey Kilgore was equal to all four offerings to keep it a one-goal game entering the final period.

The Blue Jays had several golden chances to grab an insurance goal in the final 15 minutes, but Schuman was kicked aside four Johns Hopkins shots, including a solid strike from
Grace Nockolds with just under 12 minutes to play and back-to-back offerings from
Grace Waldeck and
Jenna Halpin midway through the period. For her part, Kilgore stuffed
Emma Campbell from in tight with 8:40 on the fourth-quarter clock to turn away Washington College's best chance in the final 15 minutes; Campbell's rebound off Kilgore's save drifted wide of the post.
