LANCASTER, PA – For the second straight week,
John Ghanem has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
Ghanem finished with six saves to back-stop Johns Hopkins' to a crucial 1-0 win at Ursinus on Friday night in the regular season finale. The win was his fourth shutout of the season and secured the Blue Jays a spot in the Centennial Conference Tournament. Ghanem has played in 15 games and started 13 with a 1.26 goals against average and a .733 save percentage.
Hopkins hosts McDaniel in the Centennial Conference First Round Tuesday night. The game is slated for a 7:00 pm start at Homewood Field.
