BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team competed on Saturday, sending a contingent to the Duke Invitational and the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.

Spencer Ye,
Josh Lee and
Samson Dessalines made program history on Saturday, clocking a school-record time of 3:17.26. The performance earned them a ninth-place finish and currently ranks 16
th in Division III this season. This marks the fastest 4x400m relay time for Johns Hopkins since 2017, when the quartet of Jesse Poore, Alex Mollick, Rob Dembinski and Zach Shelley ran a 3:18.49.
Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic
The distance squad shined, recording three top-25 finishes in the 5000m. Freshman,
Brady Ott led the way with a time of 14:27.86, setting a new freshman record and posting the fourth-fastest time in program history—good for 15
th overall.
Thomas Li followed closely behind in 17
th, clocking a 14:28.97, the fifth-fastest time in school history.
Connor Oiler rounded out the top-25 finishers, placing 25
th with a 14:36.22.
In the 1500m,
Aiden Tomov etched his name in the record books with a personal-best 3:52.75, the sixth-fastest time in Johns Hopkins history. He was joined by teammates
Peter Murray (3:55.95),
Anirudh Krishnan (4:00.29) and
Zachary Martin (4:03.15), all of whom recorded personal bests in the event.
The Blue Jays are back in action Sunday, April 13, for the conclusion of the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, with action scheduled to begin in Lewisburg, PA at 11:30 AM in the triple jump.
