2025 IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic

O'Brien, Mackin and Angello Named to IWLCA All-Region Team

NORTHBOROUGH, MA – Johns Hopkins placed three players on the 2025 IWLCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Teams it was announced today. Senior Ashley Mackin and junior Reagan O'Brien were named to the first team and junior Ava Angello was named to the second team.
 
Hopkins has now produced eight IWLCA All-Region selections under head coach Tim McCormack and 111 all-time. The is the first time the Blue Jays have had two first team selections since 2021.

Second Team IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic
• 2025 First Team All-Big Ten, 2025 Honorable Mention USA Lacrosse All-American
• Currently ranked 3rd in B1G and 14th in the nation in goals (65); 3rd most in JHU history
• Currently ranked 2nd in B1G and 17th in the nation in points (90); 4th most in JHU history
• Currently on a 39-game goal-scoring streak; 2nd longest in JHU history
• Ranks 6th in JHU DI history in points (211), 4th in goals (158), 14th in assists (53)
 
Ashley Mackin (Sr. • A)
First Team IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic
• 2025 First Team All-Big Ten, 2025 Honorable Mention USA Lacrosse All-American
• Currently ranked 2nd in B1G and 12th in the nation in goals (66); scored 4 or more goals in 11 of 14 games
• Finished one shy of JHU single-season goals record, despite missing six games
• Currently ranked 3rd in B1G in points (85)
• Set school Division I record with 9 goals at James Madison
• Ranks 11th in JHU DI history in career points (181), 9th in goals (134), 18th in assists (47)
 
Reagan O'Brien (Jr. • D)
First Team IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic
• 2025 Big Ten Defender of the Year, 2025 First Team All-Big Ten, 2025 First Team USA Lacrosse All-American
• Set NCAA single-season record with 103 caused turnovers
• Currently leads Big Ten and ranks 9th in the nation in ground balls (3.25/game)
• Set JHU single-game (12), season (103) and career (166) records for caused turnovers
• Ranks 12th in NCAA history in career caused turnovers
