Four Blue Jays Earn USILA Scholar All-America Honors

Bauer, Callahan, Monfort, Weishaar Honored by USILA

BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team placed four players on the 2025 USILA Scholar All-America Team it was recently announced.  The four selections mark the third consecutive year that Johns Hopkins has had four or more players named and the Blue Jays have produced 15 USILA Scholar All-Americans over the last three seasons.
 
To be named to the USILA Scholar All-America Team, players must be nominated by their coach, be a student with a senior year or graduate student academic standing and boast a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale). He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player. Ultimately, final selections are made by the Scholar All-America Committee.
 
Johns Hopkins' four selections include graduate students Dylan Bauer (A/M), Jack Monfort (SSDM) and Colby Weishaar (D) and senior Logan Callahan (FO).
 
A four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and named to the 2025 Big Ten All-Sportsmanship Team, Bauer rang up 16 goals and five assists in 2025 and capped his career having played in 56 games with 44 starts while totaling 39 goals and 28 assists for 67 points.  After playing midfield for most of his career, he moved to attack midway through the 2025 season.  Bauer graduated with a degree in political science in 2024 before pursuing a master's in communication as a graduate student.
 
Monfort made an immediate impact in his lone season at Johns Hopkins in 2025.  He played in all 14 games as a short stick midfielder after transferring from Yale and had one goal, 15 ground balls and four caused turnovers to his credit.  Monfort pursued a master's degree in finance at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business during his graduate season at Homewood.
 
Weishaar stepped right into a starting role on the Blue Jay close defense in 2025 after transferring to Johns Hopkins from UMBC.  He played in and started all 14 games and had 10 ground balls and six caused turnovers to his credit during his lone season at Homewood.  Weishaar pursued his master's degree in non-profit management while playing as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins.
 
A three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and a 2025 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Callahan capped his career in 2025 by earning Honorable Mention All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse and Lacrosse Magazine while also nabbing Second Team All-Big Ten honors.  He went 189-of-311 (.608) at the X with one goal, one assist and a team-high 106 GBs in 2025 and finished his career by going 416-of-762 (.546) on faceoffs with 247 ground balls to go along with one goal and one assist.  Callahan graduated with degrees in math and economics and a minor in applied math and statistics.
