Hannah Johnson has been named to the 2026 IWLCA Senior All-Star game it was announced today. In addition, Blue Jay head coach
Tim McCormack will coach the Blue All-Stars. Johnson is the first Blue Jay defender to play in the IWLCA Senior All-Star game since
Jeanne Kachris in 2022.
A four-year starter, Johnson played in all 80 games of her career – tied with classmate
Ava Angello for the most games played by anyone in program history. She earned Second Team IWLCA All-Mid-Atlantic and Second Team All-Big Ten honors this season while leading Johns Hopkins to a program record 17 wins and the first Division I Final Four appearance.
Johnson ranked third on the team this season in caused turnovers with a career high 31. She also ranked fourth with 34 ground balls. She finished her career with 109 ground balls, 86 caused turnovers and 17 draw controls, to go with one assist. She ranks seventh in school Division I history in caused turnovers and is 21
st in ground balls. Johnson's 73 career starts are tied for seventh most in JHU history.
McCormack, who just completed his fourth season at Hopkins, led the Blue Jays to new heights in 2026. JHU finished with a 17-5 record, breaking the 32-year-old school record for wins. The Blue Jays were seeded fourth in the NCAA Tournament, the highest in program history, and made the program's first national semifinals appearance since 1997 – when JHU was Division III. McCormack is 51-29 in his four seasons at Homewood with three Sweet 16 appearances and one Final Four trip.
