BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins placed three Blue Jays on the 2026 USA Lacrosse All-America Team it was announced today. Reagan O'Brien and Lacey Downey were named to the first team and Ava Angello was named to the second team. The Blue Jays' three combined selections on the First and Second teams are second most in the nation.
 
O'Brien earns First Team USA Lacrosse All-America honors for the second straight year. She leads the nation in caused turnovers with 75 and ranks fifth in ground balls with 62. A Tewaaraton Award finalist and two-time Big Ten Defender of the Year, she is the NCAA's career leader in caused turnovers with 241. O'Brien's 75 CTs this season rank second in program history and third in NCAA history. In addition, she ranks sixth in JHU history with 62 ground balls.
 
Downey makes her second appearance on the USA Lacrosse All-America team after picking up honorable mention accolades last season. She leads the Blue Jays and ranks 10^th in the nation with 90 points. She is also tied for the team lead and tied for 20^th in the nation with 41 assists. Downey ranks sixth in the nation in ground balls (57) and is second on the team in goals (49), caused turnovers (40) and draw controls (39). Her 90 points are tied for fourth most in school Division I history.
 
Angello grabs USA Lacrosse All-America honors for the third time in her career. She was named honorable mention in 2024 and 2025. Angello leads the team and is tied for 12^th in the nation with 61 goals. She is also tied for 14^th with 85 points, five shy of her career high. This is Angello's second straight season with 60+ goals and she enters the NCAA Tournament just four points shy of 300 for her career. Her 61 goals rank fourth most in JHU Division I history.
