LANCASTER, PA – Following its 16^th consecutive Centennial Conference Outdoor Championship, the Johns Hopkins women's track & field team earned a host of postseason honors, including a sweep of the conference's major awards. Adriana Catalano, Erika Ezumba and Ani Wedemeyer were named Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively, while Bobby Van Allen and his staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the third straight season.
 
Catalano earned Track Athlete of the Year recognition after a standout outdoor campaign. The senior posted one of the fastest 5,000-meter times in the nation at the Raleigh Relays, clocking a 16:36.47 that ranks fourth in program history and currently sits 14^th in Division III. She also helped Johns Hopkins secure its sixth Centennial Conference title in the 4x800-meter relay, as the Blue Jays recorded the eighth-fastest time in school history with a 9:18.74.
 
Ezumba was named Field Athlete of the Year after a dominant championship performance that included conference titles in both the hammer throw and shot put, along with a runner-up finish in the discus. She was also named the meet's Most Outstanding Field Performer. The senior became just the second athlete in program history to win back-to-back hammer throw titles and the third to repeat as shot put champion. Ezumba added another milestone at the Penn Relays, where she captured the hammer throw title with a personal-best mark of 58.77 meters. The throw set both Johns Hopkins and Centennial Conference records, currently ranks first in Division III and stands as the 22^nd-best mark in Division III history.
 
Wedemeyer collected Rookie of the Year honors following an impressive debut season. The freshman earned silver in the 800 meters at the conference championship with a time of 2:11.66 and also played a key role in one of the top 4x800-meter relay performances in Division III history. At the Penn Relays, she helped the Blue Jays place third in 8:49.79, finishing behind only Navy and Yale. The mark ranks as the fastest in Division III this season and is the second-fastest in both program and Division III history.
 
After guiding the Blue Jays to their 16^th straight outdoor conference championship, Van Allen and his staff were recognized as the Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year for the third consecutive season.
 
In all, Johns Hopkins totaled 19 First Team All-Conference selections. Joining Catalano (4x800) and Ezumba (hammer throw, shot put) on the First Team were Mirra Klimov (100), Lianne Saussy (400H, 4x400), Mackenzie Setton (800), Diana Valentini (1500), Sydney Shock (steeplechase), Natalie Boquist (5000), Aisling Callahan (10,000), Gabrielle Moore, Madison Moore and Lorna Arcese (4x400 ), Sofia Fernandez, Emily Roskowski and Lily Tremba (4x800), Claudia Ouimet (long jump), Clarissa Newman (pole vault) and Jaclyn Donoho (heptathlon).
 
The Blue Jays also earned 15 Second Team All-Conference honors. Ouimet (100H), Gabrielle Moore (400), Wedemeyer (800), Catalano (1500), Cooper Brotherton (steeplechase), Evangeline Dunckley (5000), Klimov, Chloe Zhang, Ellie Lewis and Leah Valentine (4x100), Donoho (high jump), Zhang (long jump), Phoebe Williams (javelin, hammer throw) and Ezumba (discus) all received second-team recognition.
 
Rounding out Johns Hopkins' All-Conference honorees were Lewis (200), Arcese (400H), Emma Kothari (800), Eleni Alvarez (steeplechase) and Ouimet (high jump). Evelyne Kim was also named the Blue Jays' representative on the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.
