Post-graduation: Originally from Wilmington, Delaware, Lauren Carney graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Lauren majored in International Relations with a minor in Spanish and concentration in Latin American studies. Lauren Carney has been a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) since 2005. SA Carney has worked for DEA in three offices within the United States (San Diego, Honolulu, and Memphis) and also worked in the US Embassy in Mexico City for three years. Currently, SA Lauren Carney is assigned to the DEA Memphis Resident Office and is the Resident Agent in Charge (RAC) for Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee.
Fun fact: Two time All American Field Hockey Player for JHU, Inducted in the JHU Athletic Hall of Fame 2012
