CENTERVILLE, MA - The 2011 Johns Hopkins football team added another ranking to its impressive list of achievements as the Blue Jays are ranked seventh in the final Lambert Meadowlands Poll of the 2011 season. Johns Hopkins adds this to its previous final national rankings of 18th (d3football.com) and 19th (AFCA).
Johns Hopkins posted a 10-1 record, won the Centennial Conference title and advanced to the NCAA Playoffs for the second time in the last three years. The Blue Jays were ranked in the top 25 throughout the season and had a school-record 15-game winning streak before falling in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs. The Centennial Conference title was the third straight and seventh in the last 10 years for Johns Hopkins.
