-- Early Surge Powers Men's Lacrosse Past UMBC, 13-7 --

The sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team jumped out to a 5-0 lead and later used a 5-1 run to put the game away as the Blue Jays powered their way past visiting UMBC, 13-7, at blustery Homewood Field Friday night. Eight different players scored for the Blue Jays, who improved to 5-1 on the year and 11-0 all-time against the Retrievers. Click here for the full story.

-- Monagle, Distance Medley Relay Earn All-America at Indoor Track NCAAs --

Senior Annie Monagle placed third in the mile run, while the distance medley relay team placed sixth to lead the Johns Hopkins women's track & field team to a 21st place overall finish at the Division III Indoor Track National Championships Saturday. Click here for the full story.

-- Baseball Moves to 5-0 with Wins versus Rutgers-Newark, Mary Washington --

Seniors Jeff Lynch and Ryan Zakszeski combined for six hits, four RBIs and four runs to lead the Johns Hopkins baseball team to a resounding 12-3 victory over Rutgers-Newark Friday afternoon at the JHU Baseball Diamond. Click here for the full Rutgers-Newark recap.

Against Mary Washington, Lynch went 2-for-4 with two runs and Adam Weiner was 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Johns Hopkins baseball team to a 10-5 victory Saturday. Click here for the full Mary Washington recap.

-- Fourth-ranked Northwestern Runs Past 12th-ranked Women's Lacrosse --

Fourth-ranked Northwestern used a seven-goal run that bridged halftime to take control of the game en route to an 18-8 win over host and 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins Saturday afternoon in American Lacrosse Conference action. Click here for the full story.
