-- Kalamazoo Bound! Hopkins Defeats Carnegie Mellon in Sweet 16 --

The seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team defeated host and eighth-ranked Carnegie Mellon, 5-0, in the NCAA Sweet 16 on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Jays improve to 20-2 on the season as they reach the 20-win plateau for the first time in program history. Hopkins advances to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the second straight season. -- Middlebury Defeats Johns Hopkins, 5-1, in NCAA Sweet 16 --

For the second consecutive season it was Johns Hopkins versus Middlebury for a berth in the NCAA Quarterfinals. This time it was the 11th-ranked Panthers that came out on top as Middlebury defeated ninth-ranked Johns Hopkins, 5-1, in the NCAA Sweet 16 Sunday afternoon. The No. 14 Johns Hopkins baseball team has been selected to the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship as an at-large bid. Hopkins will travel to Moosic, PA for the Mid-Atlantic Regional at PNC Field, hosted by Misericordia University. Click here for the full story.
